How did I end up where I am today? I know it's the people in my life and the choices that I have made, but where did all my memories go? I have lots of things I just DO NOT remember, I'll admit now, that a lot of them are because it was alcohol induced, or pot. Well shit, I guess I just answered my own question. I still don't get it, I dont' understand! I used to be crazy and care free! Not a worry in the world except where penny beer was. I used to not care about politics or world events. Why are you suppose to care about this stuff when you "grow up"? Who says you have to? I'll tell you now, one of the ONLY reasons I pay any attention to the news/world events is b/c I dont' want to be the idiot in the conversation and don't want to be made fun of b/c I can't support in what I believe. I can't just say "this is what i think, but i don't know why." To be REALLY honest I don't get a lot of the politics and I have to have Ben explain things to me. I'll admit my brain doesn't work very fast, I'll never win at a come back contest or out wit anyone, I have to sit and think about things. The best way for me to learn is to keep my mouth shut and my ears open. Too bad I'm hard of hearing....

I Love This Bar and Grill

Nick's birthday was yesterday and we always go out to eat for Ben's family. Unanimously we all decided to go to the Toby Keiths new restaraunt. Nick's the cowboy so go figure. I didn't have high expectations, I hate the name and I hate the sign too. Ben and I get there just before six, go out to the patio and sit at the bar and order two brewskies. The total was 3.50. SWEET! We just beat happy hour and we had 3 minutes to go so the bartender rang us up two more and even kept them in the cooler for us til we were ready. While we sit there we realize that the only music we heard so far was Toby Keith, which scared us. The cute bartender said they play one full CD a night and then the rest of the music isn't so bad. The wait was only 25 minutes long, our buzzer rang and we got our beers and headed inside. Bens mom and brother were lost in the parking lot and his dad hadn't even left for work yet. I hate sitting at a table waiting for everyone. When Char and Nick walked in and saw us they came straight over and Nick almost fell b/c he didn't see the step so that made waiting worth it. The tables by the way are made for men who are 6 foot 6 inches tall and. I was sitting in my chair and the table came up to my neck. A four top easily sat our 5 top w/ plenty of room b/c the tables are huge and Bens family is so small. Luckily the bartender outside said if we split something it would be plenty of food. The bread basket is good, it has cornbread and biscuts in it, spicy! We also had the Tumble Weed appetizer, which is deep fried onion strings w/ bits of jalepenos. Pretty yummy. So Ben and I split the ribs and have okra and mashed potates. Nick gets a strip, Gary the Chicken Fried Steak, and Char gets the filet. Gary's CFS was the size of his torso and Nicks steak was close to two inches thick, our ribs were HUGE as well as the sides. *Side Note* Ben and I are super picky about the ribs we eat, the only ones we like are from Houston's and our friend Lukes.* Everyone is chowing down. I can't believe the food was so good! Ben pulled out the bones from his portion w/ his hands, they just fell off! Char said her steak was too peppery, Nick actually said his wasn't that bad, which is good coming from a guy who only likes steaks from Cattlemens. Garys CFS was pretty good too, it too was a bit peppery but I think it was the gravy. Overall I was impressed. I think it would be a good place to watch the game too since they have a huge screen on the wall where EVERYONE can see it. There are three bars, the main one is huge, the one outside is cool, and a smaller bar closer to the stage. Also outside they have fire pits for cool nights. I can't believe I loved this bar and grill.

Rock'n Bar S Ranch...
Current mood: satisfied

Ben's family is away on vacation so we are feeding/watering the dogs and horses while they are away. This is what happend last night. Pull up to parents house. Pet Mardi and Ginger and I get stuck in the palm w/ stickers that are attached to Gingers ear fur. Ben walks around in the back yard and i'm petting the dogs when i hear "SICK!". I look up and there is a big fat DEAD possum. The dogs like to catch things and play with it. Well, ben grabs a shovel and a paper bag. He flops the fly encrusted possum over and immediately our eyes water from the funk that rises into our nostrils and fills every orifice on your body. I stand hunched over holding the paper bag open so he can slide it in. Not so much. I run away and start gasping for clean air. He bravely slides the creature into the paper bag and picks it up w/ his thumb and index finger, making sure not to touch the oily oozing juices coming from the bag. Ben later told me the possum was so stinky b/c it had a turd halfway sticking out of it's butthole. EW! I go back in to get a second bag, we needed to reinforce the first one. By the time i got back out Ben was doing a dance around the yard and screaming at the attacking flies that were pissed b/c we stole their feast away from them. We double sacked the varmit and put it in the trash can and hauled it to the curb. The trashmen will forever love the Sellers household. We then went out to the Rock'n Bar S Ranch. LOL. I crack up everytime I hear/say that. They even have their own brand for the horses, anyway, feeding the horses. You have to round them up, put them in their stall and feed them. Two horses have babies, so they go in the stall w/ them. One is a mule and she has her own stall. The mule also has stiches on her snout b/c she got kicked in the face. She's their bitch. Just teasing. Um, we feed Oopsy first, the mule, because she eats the slowest and we have to give her meds for her cut. Then the two moms and the babies. Then we go and get some hay and spread it out so they can have some of that too later for a snack. After we spread the hay out i feel things crawling on my legs, little bugs called ticks. Gross out session in the barn and I do a "hit the leg as fast as you can" dance. Also, Ben brings the water hose to fill the troughs. As he does this he splashes the red clay ground near me and gets my feet and legs red and muddy. So, now i have bugs and mud on me. I don't think you can be a rancher and wear shorts and flip flops to the ranch, it just doesn't work well. So we will do this every night this week, i'll try to get some pics next time.



p.s. I just called Ben to make sure the ranch name was right, and he had to correct me. "It's spelled Rock'n, not RockING." LOL.





p.s.s. I'm not really listening to Keith Urban - In the Ranch, I just like to use theme music.

Friday night.
Current mood: hungry
Friday night was so much fun. Went to Belle Isle to watch Falcon-Five-O. Met Amber and Luke up there, Jamie came by and got my ass. We ate cheesefries and pepparoni pizza. Had some beers too. I got to meet one of the doodes from the band during their break, I think Jamie said she knew them some how. We left and crashed the gay scene. Went to The Park for one drink. Jamie went up and asked the dancer if he was gay or straight. He said straight, but we don't believe him b/c he had on white see through boyshorts w/ a white thong underneath and combat boots, plus he said he's done it w/ doodes before. Liar. Anyway we left there and went to The Copa. BTW, we are with our gay friend so that's why we are there. So The Copa is fun and we dance our asses off all night. Oh, and if you know why gay men take off their shirts in the club let me know. Anyway James and I are dancing, dancing, dancing, and at one point this cute gay guy says to me, "are you two a couple? You guys are ADORABLE!" LOL. We are adorable. We are not gay. But i think everyone there thought we were, just b/c we like to dance crazy. Anyway, another funny of the night was seeing my bosses daughter there. I went up to her and told her who I was and you could tell she was freaked out a bit b/c she didn't say anything to me except "this is weird, this is weird." It's funny b/c everyone knows she is gay but no one talks about it. She even showed me who her girlfriend was and she is cute. The last song of the night she came out there to dance w/ me and jamie. I took her hand and made her twirl and she was all weirded out again. She told me she's not used to not leading. i think she is the "boy" int the relationship.

holy crap, i just dedicated a blog to MFC.

Pink and Teal ninja were walking out of class, they had just finished the bloody final. They both aced it and they were ready for the real world of ninjaness. Suddenly a pirate attacked w/ his big steel cannon. This did not phase the ninjas. They flew! They stabbed! They KILLED! The blood was warm and he had a snack in his back pocket too so that was good. But what they did not know was the pirate they killed was the son of the worst most evilest pirate ever known. One eyed Willy. (yeah from Goonies) O.E.W. went berserk and drew his sword and started slashing the ninjas across the face and on the butt too. THIS did NOT stop the young ninjas from thier destruction. Willy was pissed, he blew his horn for the other pirates to come help. Only two showed up b/c the others were away on vacation. KICKCHOP! KICKCHOP! KICKCHOP! the first pirate lay dead in a pool of his own blood, spit, vomit mixture. Teal ninja went over to the next pirate and said "you want some of this BITCH!" and she numchucked him in the temple. "ARG!" Simultaneously Pink and Teal ninja KICKCHOPPED him in the head splitting his skull and smashing his brains out onto their new ninja shoes. Pink ninja scooped up his brains w/ a spoon she found on the grass and forced his brainy remains down Willy's throat. After that Teal ninja bitch-slapped him and stole his pearl eye. HHHHHHIIIIYYYEEEEEEEAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH! Gold ninja flew down from the crystal blue sky. (He had been watching the entire time.) In one fell swoop he unleashed his machete and sliced and diced Willy's face open. The Gold ninja looked into Willy's remaining good eye and spat in it, then pushed him front of oncoming traffic. The three ninjas left the carnage for the trash men to pick up and split the snack from the pirates pocket.

i've been working on my site for a while trying to get it the way i want w/ the "pimp my webpage" and "thomas's myspace editor", but it won't let me do exactly what i want, and i failed my HTML class my freshmen year. i change it about 4 times a day. I also change my video weekly, this week is 2 Live Crew Hoochie Mama and it reminds me of high school so bad, i LOVED the move Friday and i love the sound track even more. If you guys don't know this, i'll let you know, i am such a "hood rat hood rat hoochie mama." listen to the words they crack me up.

best friends

they kill me sometimes. in a good way i suppose. i don't have a ton of friends, only a select few who make me laugh, who make me think about important issues, who let me cry and whine, and some who are really truly my friends, the ones who love me and cherish me and who know my family, and love them too, who know my background, the heartaches i've been through, the moments that have changed my life, people who have shaped who i am today. I have taken a few of these people for granted before and i will never ever do that again. You love these people b/c, well, they love you back. they may annoy the hell out of you, we all do it. they may not finish reading your blog b/c they say you were just rambling, but you just laugh at them and tell them they are losers. they may not call for weeks at a time, but when they call, you don't pick up just to give 'em a taste of their own medicine. WE ALL DO IT. You are allowed to feel annoyed, angry, pissed, whatever, but so are they! And it's all OKAY b/c that shit happens, life happens, but dont' let life, like getting married, or getting a new boyfriend, or your job get in the way of hanging w/ your boys/girls. Don't take them for granted. They may have to donate a kidney to you later.
