sleeping problems???

well i think C is going through a growth spurt. Instead of eating every 2.5 to 3 hours it's been every 2 hours on the dot.

Normally she sleeps with her arms swaddled, it's sort of like a straight jacket for babies but she gets the most rest that way. in return we get the most rest too. last night we decided to try letting her arms free b/c soon she'll be too big for her straight jacket. So we are trying to get her used to it. Typically if she can't move her arms she'll sleep anywhere from 8ish to 1ish or 8ish to 4ish. and then she'll go back down after the last feeding around 4 or 5 for another couple of hours. Well, last night she went down about 9, woke up 12:30, 3:15, 5:45 and then woke up again at 7:15 but i couldn't feed her again until 7:45. :( I think maybe she ate too much over the course of the evening b/c she spit up some this morning and had a big burp too.

Ben gets C when she wakes and brings her to me to eat. i sit up with her in bed to feed her. If i lay down i'll fall asleep with her on my boob and then she'll just use me as a pacifier until i wake up and realize. So i sit up like a zombie and make sure she doesn't fall asleep either so she gets full. This takes about 30 or 40 minutes each feeding. so you can guess how tired i am today. i had plans to meet a girlfriend for lunch but i'm just too tired. plus i'm going back to the doctor today to see about my congestion, ears, left shoulder, right knee and heel, and the funny feeling i have in the back of my head occasionally. :( i'm turning 30 this year and i'm already falling apart.

so if anyone has any suggestions about Cecily learning to sleep with her arms out let me know. i need some help.
